& conditions.

Hire available now · Office confirmation required

Request your preferred dates, then we’ll check availability and call you. Payment is arranged with the office or in store. No hire insurance or damage waiver is offered; read the damage and transport responsibilities below before requesting a bike.

01

Your booking

Bike hire is available now, subject to availability and suitability checks. Request a bike with your preferred dates, size and callback number by email, or contact our office on 1300 372 711 or info@blastgroup.co. The request button opens a prefilled email; you must send it from your email app. We check availability and follow up by phone to confirm the details and arrange payment. Please contact the office or come in store for payment; there is no online checkout. A request does not reserve a bike. Before payment, we confirm the operator details, hire agreement, collection location, hire dates and times, equipment and total price. Your hire is confirmed only when our office confirms the booking and payment arrangements with you.

02

Rates & hire periods

One-day rates are A$120 for the ABSOLUT, A$160 for the SUPREME DH V5, A$180 for the META POWER SX 400 and A$190 for the META POWER SX 800. Medium and Large are our current fleet sizes. Ask our office for multi-day pricing. Exact collection and return hours are agreed before payment. A hire day should not be assumed to mean 24 hours. Any mandatory charges and applicable taxes will be shown in the total before payment.

03

Insurance is not included

Your hire price does not include insurance for personal injury, medical or ambulance costs, third-party liability, or damage, loss or theft of the bike. No optional insurance or damage waiver is currently available. There is no included cover or excess that caps your responsibility for bike damage, loss or theft. You remain responsible for applicable repair or replacement costs under these terms and your hire agreement, subject to your legal rights. Check any personal cover directly with your insurer, including mountain biking, e-bikes and hired equipment.

04

Riders & bike suitability

Tell us your height, experience and intended riding so we can check the bike and size are suitable. Only the riders agreed in the hire arrangement may use the bike; do not lend or sub-hire it. We confirm rider eligibility and any parent or guardian arrangements before accepting your hire. Follow the manufacturer’s rider and equipment limits and tell us if the setup does not feel right.

05

Helmets, briefing & trail safety

Wear a correctly fitted, compliant helmet and protective equipment suitable for your riding and the park’s requirements. Equipment inclusions will be stated before booking; do not assume helmets, pads, transport or trail passes are included. Attend the handover briefing, check braking and controls, and ride within your ability. Never ride while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Obey road rules, trail signs, closures and other trail users’ right of way.

06

Where you can ride

Use the bike only on legal, open trails and in locations agreed at handover, within its intended use. Dirt jumping, downhill riding and e-bike trail riding need different bikes and skills. Racing, organised competition, transport outside the agreed area or use beyond the agreed riding category requires prior agreement. Do not modify the bike, derestrict an e-bike, carry passengers or tow with it.

07

Bike condition & care

We will record the bike’s condition together at collection and return, including any existing marks or faults. Check tyres, brakes and visible damage before each ride. Stop riding if the bike becomes unsafe, and contact us promptly about a fault or crash. Do not arrange repairs or replace parts without our agreement, except where necessary to address an immediate safety emergency. Fair wear from agreed riding and pre-existing damage are not charged as new damage.

08

E-bike batteries

Battery range varies with terrain, assistance mode, rider load and conditions; plan a route with enough reserve. Follow the supplied battery and charging instructions and use only the approved charger. Keep charging equipment dry and away from heat. Do not immerse the bike, pressure-wash electrical parts, tamper with the battery or charge a damaged battery. Stop use and contact us if there is damage, unusual heat or another warning sign.

09

Security, storage & transport

Keep the bike attended or securely locked to a fixed object, and store it in a secure place when not riding. Agree overnight storage and vehicle transport arrangements with us first. You are responsible for safe loading, unloading and securing the bike throughout transport to and from your ride. Use an appropriate carrier and restraints; do not assume a ute tray or a vehicle rack alone makes the bike secure. Your damage and loss responsibility includes theft in transit, a bike falling from the back of a ute or carrier, and damage in a vehicle accident, subject to the damage terms and your legal rights. Report loss or theft promptly to us and to police where appropriate, and keep the incident reference.

10

Damage, loss & security deposits

You are responsible for the reasonable, documented costs of damage, loss or theft of the bike and supplied equipment while in your care, from collection until return, including riding, storage, loading, unloading and transport to and from your ride. This includes crash and impact damage, damaged components, theft, a bike falling off a ute or carrier, and damage caused during a car accident. With no hire insurance or damage waiver provided by us, these costs may include the full reasonable repair cost or, where replacement is necessary, the reasonable replacement cost. Fair wear from agreed use, pre-existing damage, defects and loss caused by our fault are excluded. Responsibility and charges remain subject to applicable law and the agreed hire terms. We will provide evidence and an itemised explanation of any proposed charge and give you an opportunity to respond. Any security deposit or card hold, release timing and dispute process are disclosed and agreed before payment. No unlimited authority to charge your card is created by this page.

11

Returns & late arrivals

Return the bike and all supplied equipment to the agreed place by the agreed time. Contact us as soon as you expect a delay or need an extension; extensions depend on availability. Any late-return, exceptional cleaning or recovery fees and their calculation will be disclosed before booking. Normal dirt from the agreed type of riding is expected. Return condition will be checked against the handover record.

12

Changes, cancellations & weather

We explain and agree any cancellation, rescheduling, no-show and early-return conditions with you before payment. No undisclosed cancellation charges apply. Check trail conditions and closures before travelling. If unsafe conditions or a closure affect the hire, contact us before riding. Where we cannot supply the agreed hire, we will offer an appropriate alternative or refund, subject to your consumer rights. There is no blanket no-refund policy.

13

Incidents & emergencies

Mountain biking involves falls, collisions, changing surfaces and remote locations. Choose routes that match your experience, carry suitable supplies and a means of communication, and make someone aware of your plans. In an emergency call 000 when able to do so. Stop using an unsafe bike, seek appropriate help and notify us as soon as reasonably possible. Hire does not include a rescue or medical service.

14

Your rights & the final agreement

Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. This page is not a personal-injury liability waiver. Any separate risk acknowledgement and hire agreement are provided before payment. For hire questions, incidents, complaints or concerns about charges, contact 1300 372 711 or info@blastgroup.co. We use your enquiry details to assess availability, contact you and arrange your hire. Please do not email payment card details or identity documents.
